3. Underwater Sculptures
This is one of the most amazing projects that I have seen in a long time. Artist Jason deCaires Taylor sculpts lifelike human statues and then places them underwater, effectively drowning entire towns of his sculptures. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of his work is to watch the effects of time on the sculptures themselves.

I was given this book by my boyfriend and I am totally hooked. The nicest part of it is that I didn't really think that I was my kind of book. Plus this is a beautiful cover.
